WHAT IS NETWORK MARKETING?

Network marketing is a legitimate duplicable distribution business model similar to that of franchising, but without the extreme start up cost, that anyone anywhere can do.
The concept here is to distribute a product from a manufacturer direct to the consumer, eliminating the middle men that add to the final cost of a product that is marked up traditionally in a Store front. The huge savings that is generated is invested into product quality research and development, and of course distributor compensation who ultimately is also the consumer. Those that choose to distribute (sales) or build organizations (M.L.M. multilevel marketing) receive percentage payouts based on organizational depth and or product sales. Wow! Right?

True network marketing is far from such a description. Today, they are much easier to distinguish from phony pyramid schemes. A good networking company, usually have exceptional products to offer, excellent benefits, and a flawless distribution system. Another telltale sign of a solid company is one that pays you directly from corporate headquarters, and is consistent about it. Also, any business that have been around for more than 5 years is probably doing something right. Pyramids usually fail within a few months to two years of being established. Another sure fire way to know that a network marketing company is legit, is to insure that the company is registered with the D.S.A.(Direct Selling Association) The Direct Selling Association www.dsa.org is the name of several similar trade associations in the United States, United Kingdom, Australia, Malaysia, Singapore, and New Zealand that regulate direct selling.
